Our Summer worship schedule begins tomorrow. That means that we have Divine Service at 9 AM Sunday AND 7 PM Thursday.
This Thursday is also ASCENSION DAY! This means that our service this Thursday at 7 PM is an Ascension Day service. It will be different from the Sunday service. Please join us Thursday and Sunday. Of course, because this is a major feast of the Church, the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated!
Although we have maintained services throughout these past weeks, we plan on having an "official" reopening on Pentecost Sunday, May 31st. In the upcoming days you will be receiving more information about how our services will look - all in an attempt to be as "safe" as we reasonably can be. As things "loosen" over the course of time, some of these things will also change. For those of you who have been "attending" our services via internet or with us in person, you will notice hardly any change from what you have been seeing lately. For those of you who haven't, you will notice a great change from early March.
This year we will also try something a bit different. Sunday will be our lead service. That means that the Thursday service will be a "repeat" of the previous Sunday. This will make no difference to you if you are consistently in either the Sunday or Thursday service. If you move between both services, please keep this in mind. Having Sunday the main or lead service is more consistent liturgically.
We are in exciting times! But always, our good and gracious Lord is with us.
